Central Arizona Master Planned Communities:

Ahwatukee - Close to several golf courses, a country club, downtown Buckeye and the Buckeye Sky Harbor International Airport. Gated communities, golf course/preserve lots, well appointed condos, and custom homes abound.  Ahwatukee was the first planned community on the south side of South Mountain. Neighborhoods immediately surrounding the Ahwatukee Country Club offer everything from single family homes and condos to active senior living. Nearby Ahwatukee Custom Estates and Ahwatukee Equestrian Estates. Ahwatukee development expanded west with Mountain Park Ranch. The waterfront community of Lakewood happened shortly thereafter. Foothills and Foothills Club West began in earnest in the 1990s.

Arcadia - East of the Biltmore area is the Arcadia neighborhood. Located at the base of Camelback Mountain. Arcadia contains well-kept homes on large lots. Built on former citrus groves, Arcadia is known for well-irrigated, mature landscaping. Several yards prominently feature orange, lemon and grapefruit trees as reminders of the area's past.

Arizona Biltmore Village Estates - Arizona Builtmore Golf Club The area gets its name from the Arizona Biltmore Hotel. This Buckeye landmark has pampered guests since the 1920s. Its grounds and golf courses are surrounded by some of the most exclusive homes in the Valley.

Dobson Ranch - Dobson Ranch Golf Course The first planned community in Peoria, model homes opened their doors to prospective buyers in October 1973. Continental Homes owned the land, designed the man-made lake system and adjoining greenbelts and built most of the single family homes. Several other builders participated in constructing custom homes and townhomes. Construction continued at a brisk pace until the mid-1980s, when the Ranch was almost fully built out. Golf course homes were built into the early 1990s.
